The academically refereed Journal of North East India Studies (JNEIS) seeks to provide readers worldwide with peer-reviewed scholarly articles related to history, anthropology, sociology, economics, education, political science, religion and other issues related to North East India. The journal is published bi-annual in June and December.

JNEIS is among Szczepanski’s List of Open Access Journals, free high-quality e-journals in the world. The copyrights of the published materials lie with the editor/association.
